Happy Defender of the Fatherland Day, Belarus!
This is the last set of photos from the ‘Around Minsk’ photo series.
In the top photo: the Trinity Hill, the oldest surviving district of Minsk. The historic neighborhood sprawls along the left bank of the Svislach River in the southeastern part of the modern city. The district takes its name from the Trinity Convent, of which little remains. This is an area of 19th-century housing, mostly restored after the ravages of World War II.
