I have a confession to make… I have lost all photos from my EuroTrip 2016. One of my longest trips to Europe since 2000 ended up without any photography coverage. I can’t explain how frustrating this is… While in Europe, I had shared a few mobile pictures on my social media networks. If I only knew those shared photos will …

I am obsessed with bikes… I’ve found Berlin as a perfect city for riding one. There is no view in Berlin without Berliner or Berlinerin on a bicycle. If you don’t see any bikers, take a closer look, at least a bike itself must be somewhere around ;)

Berlin is amazing! I visited it last year during my German-Austrian ‘Guten Tag! Deutsch Time’ Nona Hora EuroTrip and loved to walk its busy open-sky streets. I am currently working on my next travel photo book, looking through Berlin cityscape and street photography and finding some interesting photos I have not shared with you yet. Checkpoint Charlie (or “Checkpoint C”) was the name given by the Western Allies to the best-known Berlin Wall crossing point between East Berlin and West Berlin during the Cold War. The Soviet Union prompted the construction of the Berlin Wall in 1961 to stop Eastern Bloc emigration westward through the Soviet border system, preventing escape across the city sector border …

The Berlin Wall was a barrier, more than 140 kilometres (87 mi) long, constructed by the German Democratic Republic (GDR, East Germany) starting on August 13, 1961, that completely cut off West Berlin from surrounding East Germany and from East Berlin. The Eastern Bloc claimed that the wall was erected to protect its population from fascist elements conspiring to prevent …

I found Berlin as a very youthful city. It is green, wide open, a great city to explore on two wheels. The hotels and rental companies offer bike rental from €10 per day. I used to think that Amsterdam is the most busiest cycling city in Europe. However, I’ve changed my mind after this trip- Berlin is! I couldn’t miss …
