Berlin: Girls on Bikes

I found Berlin as a very youthful city. It is green, wide open, a great city to explore on two wheels. The hotels and rental companies offer bike rental from €10 per day. I used to think that Amsterdam is the most busiest cycling city in Europe. However, I’ve changed my mind after this trip- Berlin is!

I couldn’t miss the opportunity to take pictures of one of the most popular subjects in street photography- Girls on Bikes. Actually, I got pics of Everybody on Bike- girls, boys, women, men, older folks… But, “Only Girls on Bikes make man’s heart go faster!” ;)

  • Germany is a very bike friendly place over all. Go to any university city, or really any major city, and so many people will be on bikes. Especially in university cities the female population look pretty good doing it. Wouldn’t think they would all be that happy with you taking pictures though, Germans can be a bit privacy-happy.

    • I think it depends on a person. Some people hate street photographers, some do not care. I didn’t have any “privacy issues” in Germany. Mostly people smile, pose, wave, etc.
