This is the second set of photos from my New Year’s Eve in New York trip. As I have told before, my hopes for a walk in White Christmasy New York were dashed last year. The weather in NYC in the last 5 days of the year was horrible. On the only sunny day I walked by Rockefeller Center Ice Skating Rink, Times Square, Broadway, The Fifth and Seventh (Fashion) Avenues; and visited New York Macy’s (for the first time).

Great photos! I love NYC during the holidays. When I lived in the US, my mom and I used to meet there every year. I would love to spend New Year’s Eve there one year!

You are so right, Andrew, it is hard to get bored in NYC.
Great collection of NYC photos! I’ve never visited NYC during the holidays but would love to see the window displays and holiday decor throughout the city one of these days. I love how you captured the vibrant and quirky life of the city.
Thanks, Mary. Christmas – New Year Eve is the best time to visit New York City. I already can’t wait to get back :) Would love to spend a day just taking photos of Fifth Avenue window displays. Each of them is a peace of art!

We actually had a layover in NYC during the day last NYE. It seemed like a really interesting time to be in NY – I wish we could have stayed to see the ball drop. Gorgeous photo as always! It looks like you had a great time.
Yes, the time was great. Great, but short :) I wish it didn’t rain as much :(
Great photos! I love NYC during the holidays =)
