This year, my ‘EuroTrip Express’ project took me to Paris, France and Saint Petersburg, Russia. Not many pictures from the trip have been published yet. Those who follow Memographer’s social media channels – Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, could see my live Instagram updates from Europe (here are the summaries from France and Russia). Also, I’ve published a few photo posts with the images of Saint Petersburg. However, the “real pictures” from the trip have not been shown yet. Today, I publish street photography shots of Paris. The first set of photos has been taken at the Notre Dame de Paris. Hope you’ll enjoy them [wink]
***Just FYI,
On December 2, 1804, Napoleon invited Pope Pius VII to come to Paris to crown him Emperor of the French in the Notre Dame Cathedral. At the last minute, however, Napoleon seized the crown from the pope’s hands and crowned himself (!)
