I continue publishing my street portrait photography from Rio de Janeiro. If you haven’t seen the previous post Portraits Of Strangers: Brasileiros And Cariocas, please take a look. It contains street portraits of the local residents of Rio de Janeiro (Cariocas). Today, however, I publish a mix of portraits of Brazilians and Tourists captured on the streets of Rio.

As always, I’m scrolling through your photos….for the THIRD time, Alex! You are by far my most inspirational photographer and photographer friend. I’m constantly thinking of your suggestions you gave me offline…yes, I still have them always with me! If I had to pick one out of this set (trust me they are all amazing…always) I would go with the man holding the woman in a handstand doing the splits. I’m always thinking to myself what did he say to this/that particular person before getting the chance to take that photo (any/all of your photos). You rock that there is seldom posing. You are always awesome, my friend! :) More, more! :)

I loved these photos! In general I love photos of people from al over the world. Most look like they are warm people.
Wow, you captured a lot of decisive moments here, Alex. You don’t only have good eyes, but also great reflex to shoot those split second moments. And those shots where people are posing for you, I like how comfortable they are in front of your camera. It’s a reflection of how relaxed you were in interacting with them – a skill not many photogs have.

Super photos as always. Makes me want to drop what I’m doing and go right to Rio. :-)
Alex, Love portraits…I’ve been thinking I need to get to Rio…maybe next summer!

Will embark on a trip and thoroughly explore exotic Rio.
Couldn’t leave Ouro Preto our either and I also think I’ll travel to nearby Paraty as well.
