As Atlanta Wedding Photographer, I was very excited about the street wedding photography project I planned to photograph during my travel to Europe this summer. Fortunately, I visited Prague, Czech Republic and Minsk, Belarus on Saturdays- the “wedding days”. So it wasn’t difficult to find newlyweds on the streets. In Nemiga, Minsk’s Old Town district, I counted fifteen brides within 45 minutes. On the Prague’s Old Town square- four brides within 15 minutes. I could spend two entire days on snapping wedding pictures… But, I was on vacation [smile]

Weddings are always fun and you’ve captured a good sense of that energy and hopefulness in these photos… also great street shots.

I love seeing brides around the world especially in their native and traditional attire. These are all great. It’s too bad we missed seeing some of the brides in Prague. What a wonderful idea for a project.

Totally understand your feelings, Mary. As a wedding photographer, I really enjoy photographing brides in their native attire. I was lucky to photograph brides in Indian, Korean, and Nigerian colorful wedding gowns. Those are amazingly beautiful! Thank you for stopping by!

Hi Alex, I didn’t know you were a wedding photog! I checked your wedding sites and I loved your photos. Your style is unique and is not the typical wedding-ish photos. Loved the “trash the dress” shot. It’s so sexy! Great capture.
I also enjoyed your street wedding shots in Europe. I love seeing brides and grooms myself when I travel. They always make the scene so dreamy and romantic.
You would have loved the time when we were in Vietnam last November. It was a wedding season. In front and in the corrner of my hotel there were about a dozen bride and groom taking photos. We walked to the park and there were tons more. It was a pretty awesome scene.
