During my trip to Hollywood I stayed at Roosevelt Hotel. It is a bit pricey place, but, life is too short! I wanted my “Hollywood Time” trip to be in the Theme, so I had to go with the best. The history of Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel is amazing! The hotel hosted the presentation of the very 1st Academy Awards in 1929. Marilyn Monroe was a resident at the Hollywood Roosevelt for two years. One of the most beautiful Hollywood couples Clark Gable and Carole Lombard lived in the hotel’s penthouse, now it’s named the Gable & Lombard Penthouse. Other famous residents and guests of the Roosevelt Hotel have included Elizabeth Taylor, Charlie Chaplin, Hugh Hefner, Marilyn Manson, Prince, Frank Sinatra, and many others. Even more, the hotel is occupied by celebrity ghosts. Marilyn Monroe’s ghost appears in a full-length mirror from time to time, greeting guests at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel…

Today hotel’s Tropicana Bar and nightclub Teddy’s host celebrity parties every night. One night (during my stay at Roosevelt) Paris Hilton stopped in. Another night the hotel hosted a private red carpet event. I was returning from a dinner when I saw an endless parade of arriving celebrities-
