I went through an archive of photos from my trip to Rome, Italy and Vatican City. Here are a few of the street snaps. The photo of a girl in an open window strikes me every time I look at it… Soon, I will be publishing a series of photo posts from Rome which will be focused on particular subjects like the Colosseum, Capitoline Museums, St. Peter’s Basilica, Sant’Angelo Castle bridge, etc. Please stay tuned.

Yeeees, your right! a younger Charles Bukowski [smile]

Thanks for your kind comment, Colleen.
Sorry I’m arriving so late, Memographer! That lady in the 2nd photo (no offense to her) reminded me immediately of Robin Williams in the movie “Mrs Doubtfire”! I wonder what was going on in that little girl’s day? The woman on the bench taking notes…a traveler or a student? What was she writing? Your pictures rock always and of course my questions are all rhetorical in thought, our friend :)

Mike, you can’t be late to Memographer. The idea of it is to capture memories forever [wink] I am so happy to hear that my photos make people think. Thanks for the beautiful comment, Mike!
PS. And, yes, she does look like Mrs. Doubtfire [smile]
Wonderful photos, love the one of the two people facing opposite directions on the same bench.

A great series, Alex. Love the quirkiness of the woman reading by the fountain, and the man in the orange shirt, looking up!
