I am so excited! Three days left until the announcement of new Nikon “retro” full-frame camera Nikon Df (to be announced on November 5th, 2013). As a huge fan and long time user of original film camera Nikon F, I just can’t wait to see its young digital brother! This time Nikon was doing great job on hiding the details of a new camera from public before the official announcement.
My father used to say “Find the one thing you can do all day without looking at your watch, that’s your passion.” He was right… Now, every frame is meaningful again.

I’m coming to this post a bit late, Alex, but that means that the news is now out as I write. I grew up with cameras with dials and aperture rings, and would very much love to have one again, but in a compact form, and with the virtually instant focussing of my current compact DSLR. I’m just waiting to see how things develop, then.
