2013 NASL Soccer Bowl: Atlanta Silverbacks 0-1 New York Cosmos
The Championship Game was a great soccer experience in the capital of Georgia. That was something Atlanta missed last 40+ years. You may wish to read more about this number in my post ‘The Short History Of Professional Soccer In Atlanta’. With two other major games hosted by Atlanta teams (Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Hawks) on November 9th and the game being televised on ESPN3 and ESPN Deportes, the Atlanta Silverbacks Park stadium was still sold out! With the seating capacity of 5,000, the stadium hosted 7,200 spectators! I was amazed by amount and quality of work performed during the day by the park organization- ticketing, parking, fan shopping, raffles, food and drinks, and entertainment. And, honestly, I was astonished by such impressive support and spectacular show performed by Atlanta Ultras and all the fans of Atlanta Silverbacks FC! Thanks to you, All, Soccer Bowl was a real Football Experience!
