Happy New Year!
Wishing you Good Times and Memories in 2013!
As many of you already know, On My Shelves is my Instagram photo project – I take photos of stuff from my shelves using a phone camera and post them here in Travel Photo Journal (all items are related to my travels or photography). This is the fourth set of pictures. Click here to read the introduction post with project details or click here to check out the entire series. To be continued…
Please excuse the quality, all photos have been taken via Instagram app on Samsung T679 Exhibit II Android Smartphone and have not been edited outside of Instagram.

I’m obsessed with unique chess sets – they can be so elegant – yours looks quite lovely. Happy 2013!

Thanks, Jessica! I love statues/figurines. And having a chess set is like having 32 figurines :) Happy New Year to you too!

I always have to pack light so I don’t bring home many souvenirs. I do collect a magnet from each city I visit though :]

I love magnets, Aryn! I used to bring those too. Now I am trying to bring from each travel a figurine, preferably a wooden one ;)
A fascinating series, Alex. I particularly like the old cameras. Great idea to add those alternative views, too.
All the best for 2013!

I love the Soviet/Russian type stuff… and of course, love the stamps on the passport. I don’t think I have you on instagram! I’m going to have to add you now!
Yes, the collection of visa stamps is the most valuable :)
I’ve added you on Instagram.
