This is my second post of street (beach) photography from the people-watching theater called Copacabana. A sparkling confluence of land and sea, the 4 kilometers long beach of Copacabana always has a flurry of activity stretching its length: excited kids playing in soapy waves, cariocas and tourists lining up for Brahma and caipirinhas at beach cafes, favela boys showing off their football skills, and beach vendors offering homemade food and goods. There are non stop people to watch and one can only admire the energy displayed by the folks playing soccer or beach volleyball or running and exercising on the Copacabana promenade.

Alex, of course these are all spectacular once again! My two favorites of this set were the insanely awesome intricate sand castle and the two gals in roller blades. Something occurred to me…that you must have to be super careful with your camera and all of that sand I bet, yes?? We hope you are having a great weekend! :)
