Atlanta, as you may already know, is home to The Coca-Cola Company and the best soft drink in the World. Here, in the capital of Georgia, we have a museum called “The World of Coca-Cola”. In May 2007 the museum relocated from Underground to Downtown Atlanta. I’ve just recently visited the new location and really enjoyed it. The new World of Coca-Cola features lower and upper levels where guests can visit the various attractions such as the collection of Coca-Cola artifacts, vault of the secret formula, and display of a fully functioning bottling line; can watch 4D movie, pose for a picture with the the Coca-Cola Polar Bear (yeay!), and sample 64 products offered by The Coca-Cola Company worldwide.
If you travel to Atlanta, I highly recommend to add The World of Coca-Cola to your itinerary. It is fun for kids and adults.

Coca-Cola Sign

In the end of this post I’d like to share a photo from my archive (taken January 1, 2007). It is a famous Atlanta’s landmark- Coca-Cola neon sign. About five-story tall sign features a 10 meters (33 ft) diameter face with flashing and swirling neon lights. The “Coca-Cola” lettering is 3×9 meters (9×28 ft). The original sign was located at Margaret Mitchell Square for nearly 50 years (1932-1981). This sign was installed at Five Points near the location of a former World of Coca-Cola museum in 2003. Quite a piece of Atlanta’s history.
