Siem Reap
The City of Siem Reap is the capital city of Siem Reap Province in northwestern Cambodia, and is the gateway to Angkor. About 15 km south of Siem Reap town, Siem Reap River meets the great Tonle Sap Lake which is the largest fresh water lake in South East Asia. The human occupations at the edges of the lake – floating villages, towering stilted houses, and fish traps. Chong Khneas is the name of one of the floating villages I visited
