After arrival to Cusco from Lima I promptly relocated to Ollantaytambo, a small town in Sacred Valley. During the times of Inca Empire, Ollantaytambo was the royal estate of Emperor Pachacuti who built the town. I really enjoyed my time there. It was exciting to leave on a street built by Incas. In Ollantaytambo I took the most colorful portraits of Peruvian people. Some of them can be seen in Street Portraits Of Peru: Le Puedo Tomar Una Foto? and Inca Empire vs High Altitude Sickness posts. Here’s more photos from the streets of Ollanta.
